The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE)’s linchpin All Share Index closed higher on Thursday, rising by 3.45 points to 497.88.
Activity on the bourse was rather subdued at 158 trades for the day.
The Index benefitted from gains in Hippo Valley, which went up by $0.3975 to $5.8000 and cement producer Larfarge, which rose by $0.2000 to $3.2000.
Also on the up was milk processor Dairibord Zimbabwe which was $0.1825 firmer at $1.0975 and retailer OK Zimbabwe which increased by $0.1144 to $2.1569.
Diversified mining firm RioZim was $0.0933 up at $5.5933 in today’s trades.
However, the upside was offset by losses in Old Mutual Limited, which lost $0.4267 to $41.0000, ZB Financial Holdings, which lost $0.1000 to $1.4000 and Axia Corporation, which declined by $0.0071 to $2.1404.
Another banking institution found itself in the red as First Capital Bank slid, losing $0.0060 to settle at $0.2140
African Sun traded $0.0050 lower at $0.4950.
Turnover amounted to $14.2 million, and the bourse closed with a market capitalisation of $64.4 billion.
