‘Land baron Ken Sharpe still at large’

Controversial land baron Kenneth Raydon Sharpe continues remains at large three years after destroying a Harare businessman’s show house worth an estimated US$300 000 in the leafy suburb of Borrowdale, outspoken Harare legislator Allan Markham has claimed.

According to an affidavit filled at the High Court dated May 19th 2021 under case number HC425/2021, Harare North legislator Allan Norman Markham, says Kenneth Raydon Sharpe is a fugitive from justice, there are criminal proceedings before the Courts that Sharpe should answer.

“Kenneth Raydon Sharpe is a fugitive from justice, there are serious criminal proceedings pending before the Magistrate Court of Zimbawe. Kenneth Raydon Sharpe is wanted by the authorities on allegations of malicious destruction of property owned by one Georgios Katsimberis,” says Markham in his affidavit.

Recently Harare lawyer Tendai Biti told Harare Magistrate Stanford Mambanje that Ken Sharpe is evading justice in perjury case before the Courts.

“Your Worship one of the accused in this matter is controversial land baron, justice fugitive, at large Kenneth Raydon Sharpe,” Biti said.

Ken Sharpe’s whereabouts remain unclear, however according to different sworn affidavits before the Courts Sharpe claimed to be in Seychelles, Ukraine and most recently he claimed to be in Dubai.

Ken Sharpe is involved in nearly 20 Cases before the Courts.
