Zimbabwe’s Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister Sibusiso Busi (SB) Moyo has died after recently testing positive to Covid-19.

He has also been unwell for some time now.

Said acting chief secretary to the Office of the President and Cabinet George Charamba in a statement this morning:

“His Excellency the President, Cde E.D. Mnangagwa, regrets to announce the passing on carly this morning of Dr SB Moyo, our Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.

“The late Minister succumbed to Covid-19 at a local hospital. The nation will be kept apprised of further developments regarding this untimely demise of the late Minister, himself a
decorated soldier and freedom fighter.”

SB, a retired army major general, was serving as Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade in the Cabinet of Zimbabwe since November 2017.
