The local bourse continued its bullrun, recording a fourth straight gain for week as market capitalization bumped 14 percent to $83.7 billion from $73.3 billion yesterday.
ZSE’s All Share Index breached the 600 point mark, after adding 62.02 points (a 10.67% rise) to close at 643.30 points.
The improvement came on the back of gains in giant insurer Old Mutual Limited, which continued in the black, adding another $6.2082 to close at $53.2078, beverages heavyweight Delta Corporation, which traded $1.3608 firmer at $8.2495 and diversified mining firm RioZim Limited, which rose by $0.7900 to $7.5000.
Also on the upside was telecommunications giant Econet Zimbabwe, which traded $0.7782 higher at $4.6750 and its spin-off Cassava Smartech, which advanced by $0.7259 ending at $4.9991.
There were no counters in the red.
Foreign sales rose 14.12% to
$9,19 million while, purchases declined 87.94% to $15,538.20, leaving the market with a net funds outflow position.
