It will be a double delight affair on November 21, (tomorrow) for seasoned Gospel Musician Given ‘Sybs’ Siyabonga as he will release his brand new song and video titled, “Anosorta” which features Siza Mdlongwa.
Tomorrow will also be the artist’s birthday.
Gospel Artist born Given Siyabonga, on the 21st of November 1988 at Mpilo Hospital, Bulawayo.
Born in a family of 5,being the eldest son and the third born. Given Siyabonga is a married to one wife Hazel , blessed with a baby boy. A born again Christian and fellowships with Kingdom Life International Church in Bulawayo. He did his High school at Kushinga secondary school in Gokwe. Then furthered his studies in Bulawayo.
He started music in 2012, where he created a group called Priesthood Music, it was a gospel group with a lot of vibrant young people. 2014 got help from his church to record the first single called “Hakuna mumwe.”
In 2016, he decided to go solo, after dissolving the group. He recorded his first album titled, “Stepping Up,” which has 7 tracks.2017 second album titled Hlabelela, this album had 13 tracks which included Mutsvene featuring Beke Mguni, Hlabelela,and Prayer for Restoration which is a prayer for the nation of Zimbawe.
In 2018 he recorded Nyasha tadziona, on this album he featured Pastor Trymore Bande on two tracks, “Mukadzi mutorwa” and “Nyasha tadziona.”
In 2019 he recorded a few singles. Currently he is working on two albums. The first album is now complete, which he tried the test of sungura/rumba which will be released in the beginning of December.
This year he want to celebrate his birthday differently by releasing a single track and video titled, “Anosorta” on November 21.
In an interview on Friday Given ‘Sybs’ Siyabonga said that his forthcoming fifth album is almost complete, but he has put a special surprise package for the November 21 song and video releases, which will be on his birthday. This will be his gift to Gospel lovers, as he will share it on his social media platforms for free.
“I want to celebrate it in style, I want to give people this new single for free. On this Single I featured Siza Mdlongwa and I recorded it at RockUp Studios and the Video directed by Nashe Films.
Everyone is welcome to the release and the launch of the video live on facebook @Sybs Given Siyabonga. The fifth album is almost complete and is to be released in 2021,” he said.
